    Job Description
    MetroEast Community Media is seeking a full time Executive Assistant to support administrative
    activities at our Gresham, Oregon facility. Learn more about us at www.metroeast.org.

    Description:
    We seek a bright, enthusiastic individual with excellent people skills. The ideal candidate is
    experienced in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced media production environment. They are
    well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a diverse non-profit environment. Must
    possess great attention to detail and be able to take informed, yet decisive, action on issues that arise.

    Candidate must also possess a strong commitment to the overall organizational mission. A high level of professionalism is crucial to this role.

    Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

    Responsibilities:
    Administrative:
    • Greet guests and assist clients with proper check-in and check-out
    • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, practices and services in accordance with the current
    operating rules and procedures
    • Provide data entry support using CiviCRM
    • Membership and training enrollment
    • Schedule meetings and take detailed minutes
    • Assist with travel arrangements
    • Assist with the bi-annual submission of MHCRC reports
    • Provide written content for website
    • Provide media support
    • Archive printed media coverage
    • Act as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior management teams
    • Organizing and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts
    • Answering telephones, scheduling appointments, creating agendas, taking minutes, sorting mail,
    ordering supplies, and performing other daily tasks

    CEO Support:
    • Provide daily administrative support to the CEO, including, but not limited to, schedule
    planning, electronic and written correspondence, presentation and calendar management and
    additional duties as assigned
    • Coordinate and take minutes at monthly board meetings
    • Assist with high-level special events, meetings, and projects as needed
    • Support the CEO using good judgment, discretion, and a positive attitude
    Special Projects & Events:
    • Assist in coordinating organizational events from event conceptualization to execution
    • Organize office events, celebrations, and outings
    • Attend networking events and build relationships with local nonprofits and business members
    in the community

    Qualifications:
    • Highly developed verbal, written communication and interpersonal communication skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
    • Computer and internet literate at an advanced level
    • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with people of diverse social, cultural, economic,
    age, gender and racial backgrounds
    • Convey a warm and professional public manner at all times
    • Support the organization's strategic alliances and partnership
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend hours
    • Project management experience is a plus
    • Previous experience in nonprofit preferred
    • Experience in Adobe Suite preferred
    • Fluency in Spanish preferred

    Education/Work Experience:
    • 4-year degree preferred or related experience
    • At least 3-5 years professional-level office management/admin experience

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
    Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment with long periods at a desk. Environment
    is oriented to public service and subject to constant work interruptions. Employees may work under
    the stress of continual public and/or inter-departmental contact and pressure to meet deadlines. The
    employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
