Description
“The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde
A trivial comedy for serious people. Gwendolyn and Cecily both love Earnest and Earnest is living a double life, or is he?
A hilarious satire set in Victorian England, written in Wilde’s dazzling and witty style.
A cast of 9 bring this romantic comedy to life as we watch 3 couples earnestly trying to live the Victorian’s code of conduct under the watchful eye of Aunt Augusta. As they fail miserably, often on purpose, they manage to keep up all appearances in a most proper and ridiculously funny manner.
A perfect show for a night out of fun and rather fitting for a Valentine’s evening!
Family friendly and fun, but may be tough for kids under 12 to sit through.
